Balogun makes desperate plea to Rangers

Leon Balogun is thinking longevity and admits he would jump at the chance to stay on at Rangers beyond his current deal.

Balogun signed for the Gers in 2020 after a disappointing time at  Premier League side Brighton and Hove Albion.

The 33 year-old’s deal at Ibrox Stadium runs out at the end of May and he’ll become a free Agent in the summer transfer Window.

The CB became a very important player at Rangers and won his first ever career league title with The Gers last season.

Rangers however lost the league title to their Old Firm rivals Celtic this season, but, the team qualified for the final of UEFA Europa League and Scottish Cup.

“My time here is without a doubt the best of my career,” He told German tabloid BILD.

“What I can experience here is really sensational and for me the journey can go on. Hopefully there will be some news.

“We all feel that something big is in the air.”

Balogun has played 32 matches for Rangers in all competitions this season.
