Ghana’s striker Antoine Semenyo could miss the crucial World Cup qualifier against Nigeria on Friday.
The striker picked up an injury in Bristol City’s 2-2 draw with West Brom last Friday and was withdrawn after six minutes of action .
His Club is yet to reveal the details about the injury, but reports suggests he could be out for at least two weeks .
Brila.net understands that Semenyo is among the players penciled down by Coach Otto Addo for tie against Nigeria and his absence is a blow to the new gaffer.
The 22-year-old has been in good form for Bristol City this season, contributing six goal and eight assists in twenty-four matches.
He formed a good partnership with Andi Weimann and were back on the scoresheet against his former Club Sunderland two weeks ago.
With his availability now unlikely because of the injury , Ghana’s hope of reaching the World Cup is now on the shoulder of teenage star Felix Ofena Gyan and Saint Pauli midfielder Daniel Koffi Kyereh.
