Bologna defender, Sam Beukema praised Victor Osimhen as one of the best strikers in the world.

Bologna will host Napoli in one of weekend’s Serie A fixture on Sunday, and Beukema will have his hands full against the Nigerian.

Although Osimhen has failed to score in his last three games across all competitions, the Bologna defence must be at their best to keep last season’s league top scorer quiet.

“‘Osimhen is one of the best strikers in the league and I think also one of the best strikers in Europe, in this modern football,” Beukema said per Napoli Magazine.

“It will be a good challenge for me and also for Lucumi. But I think it will be a difficult day for him too. At least, I hope.

“He’s like I do with the other attackers: how they move, what they do.”

Victor Osimhen has a good record against Bologna in recent times. The forward has scored three goals in his last two meetings.
