Flying Eagles coach Ladan Bosso has attributed his team’s 1-0 defeat against Ghana’s Black Satellite at the on-going U20 WAFU cup to profligacy in front of goal.
Bosso speaking in a chat gathered by brila.net said the Ghanaians were lucky his team couldn’t take their chances especially in the first half when they had enough to have buried the game but for poor marksmanship.
“This second match we played better than we did in the first match against Coted’ivoire but unfortunately this time around we were very wasteful. We had good chances with which we should have finished this game in the first half, but we couldn’t do that.”
Nigeria must now hope Ghana outrightly beat Coted’ivoire by more than a goal to stand any chance of qualification at the tournament in Benin republic which serves as qualifiers for the U20 AFCON.
