The final list of players selected by coach Ladan Bosso for the U20 WAFU Championship will be announced ahead of the new week.
Currently, over 30 players are camped in Abuja engaging in test games where Bosso and his assistants are fine tuning their strategy and also scouting the players.
The initial number of players invited to camp was pruned and a further 15 have been asked to go back home.
Meanwhile, the Coach is expected to submit his final list to the NFF after today’s session and the selected players will continue training, before departing the country for Niamey, Niger Republic on Thursday.
Nigeria will come up against Ghana and Burkina Faso in the Group stage of the WAFU Zone B U20 Championship.
The Championship will hold in Niamey from May 7-20, 2022 and will serve as qualifier for the CAF U20 African Cup of Nations.
