Antoine Griezmann believes Juventus will see off Real Madrid in the Champions League final and Gianluigi Buffon should be given the Ballon d’Or ahead of Cristiano Ronaldo.
Griezmann unsurprisingly adopted a stance against his side’s city rivals, refusing to temper his prediction and claiming Juve ‘will’ claim victory against Los Blancos on June 3.
Many regard Cristiano Ronaldo as a heavy favourite to add a fifth Ballon d’Or to his trophy cabinet.
But Griezmann did not acknowledge the Portuguese star, preferring to heap praise exclusively on Buffon.
He told El Larguero: ‘Juve will win the Champion League and afterwards we should award the Ballon d’Or to [Gianluigi] Buffon.
