Arsenal captain Emerick Aubameyang said the squad is delighted to see Bukayo Saka sign a new long-term deal at the club.
Saka put pen to paper for the long-term at the club on Wednesday to end speculation regarding his future.
Saka’s new deal was marked with am emphatic 4 – 0 win over relegation flirting Norwich City at the Emirates Stadium.
The Gabon international who became the fastest player to score 50 Premier League goals, after scoring a brace against the Canaries, said he’s happy Saka signed a new deal at the club and he could be the next to commit his future to the club.
“I know [fans want me to sign a new contract] and I am really happy that Bukayo Saka signed ‘da ting’ and now we’ll see. We’ll talk with the football club and see what happens but first of all, I am really focused on the games coming until the end of the season, so we’ll see.” He told the club’s official website.
