Home-based Super Eagles finally secured their first victory in the ongoing CHAN tournament going on in Morocco.

The Salisu-Yusuf led Super Eagles started the in a slow mode having to defend several of Libya’s attacking efforts.

The team’s first CHAN 2018 goal came in the 78minute with a Sunday Faleye being the quickest to react to Ogbugh’s corner kick, latching on with a vicious brilliant finish.

Tonight’s victory has now placed Nigeria above Libya in Group C until the second game is played in few hours time.

The Group C match between Libya and Nigeria took place at the Stade Ibn Batouta in Tangier, Morocco.
