Rangers forward, Cyriel Dessers expressed his perplexity regarding the criticism he’s received since joining the club.

Dessers, who arrived with a strong reputation from Italian club Cremonese in the summer, has faced backlash from fans and pundits due to his underwhelming performances.

In 10 league appearances, the 28-year-old has only managed to score three goals.

Despite some of the criticisms, the Forward pointed out that moving to a new country comes with challenges that many underestimate.

“Some reactions even make me laugh. First of all, I think many people underestimate what it is like to move to another country,” Dessers told the Daily Record.

“My stats this season are not bad, but I don’t think it is great either. Before the season, I set a goal of 25 goal contributions, so I’m on target in that regard,” He concluded.
