Arsenal’s season has lurched from one disaster to another – and it has seemingly taken it’s toll on the players.
The Gunners were thrashed 3-0 by Manchester City on Thursday night, four days after losing by the same score to the same team in the Carabao Cup final.
In between the two defeats, the players reportedly held a meeting without manager Arsene Wenger in which they addressed their failings.
And according to The Sun , defender Laurent Koscielny broke down in tears during the talks.
The Frenchman revealed to his teammates that his young children Maina and Noah have been asking him why Arsenal have played so badly this season.
Another player is believed to have said he and his teammates need more help from the Gunners coaches.
Wenger signed a new two-year deal with the club last summer and is believed to have no plans to leave.
