The duo of Paul Onuachu and Cyriel Dessers were in action as KRC Genk thrashed Royal Antwerp 4-0 at the Luminus Arena to secure Champions League qualification.
Onuachu led the attack for the coach John van den Brom’s tutored side, but he was unable to find the back of the net.
Onuachu however managed to provide assists for hat-trick hero Kristian Thorstvedt, before he was replaced by his compatriot Cyriel Dessers with 14 minutes left on the clock.
Dessers made his presence felt as he hit the back of the net a few minutes after his introduction. Junya Ito sent a lovely long ball to his path and the Belgian-born forward did the rest by finishing off the chances.
Dessers who was also on away to Anderlecht in the previous match has increased his tally for the season to six.
The 4-0 was Genk’s last home game of an already successful season. The result keeps them in second place on the table, which is enough to send them to the Champions League.
