Coach Kabiru Dogo is optimistic that his Sunshine Stars will start the league on a good note as they their 2018/2019 NPFL campaign with away fixture to Kwara United.
The Owena whales had productive pre season campaign as they win the Gold Cup and Governor Nyesom Wike’s cup and they will look to carry the form into the league proper.
The former ABS FC and Nasarawa United coach says he’s not getting carried away by the fact that he’s returning to the state he hailed from but all his thoughts are on the game.
“We thank God for the two pre-season trophies, but now we want to start the league in a positive way.
The game against Kwara United is very important to me, also important to Sunshine Stars,” Dogo posited to Sunshine Stars Media during the closed camping in Ibadan ahead of the league opener.
