Nicole Payne is delighted to make history with her sister Toni, at the ongoing 2022 Women’s African Cup of Nations.
Nicole and her elder sister became the first siblings to feature in the tournament for Nigeria on Sunday.
The siblings started the last Group game against against Burundi and helped Nigeria secured a 4-0 victory.
“I am really excited. To represent Nigeria with my sister is a dream come true. We feel really proud and blessed to be in this position,” Nicole told ESPN.
While Toni has played every minute of Super Falcons game in Morocco, Nicole was handed her first game at WAFCON 2022 against Burundi.
