Early Birds! Super Eagles New Boys Arrive for Sao Tome and Principe

Victor Boniface and Gift Orban, have arrived Nigeria for the upcoming 2023 African Cup of Nations qualifier against Sao Tome and Principe.

The duo arrived in Nigeria on Tuesday afternoon, and they are set to join the Super Eagles camp, which is scheduled to open on Wednesday in Uyo.

 

Boniface and Orban are among the new invited players by coach Jose Peseiro for the encounter.

Last season, both players captured the attention of the football world with their outstanding performances for their respective clubs.

Victor Boniface showcased his exceptional skills while playing for Union Saint-Gilloise, and he has continued to impress with his new club, Bayer Leverkusen, in the German Bundesliga. ​

Similarly, Gift Orban has maintained his goal scoring prowess for KAA Gent.

Their remarkable form has led to their inclusion in the Super Eagles squad for the final group qualifier, which will be held at the Godwills Akpabio Stadium in Uyo this weekend.
