William Troost Ekong admits the Super Eagles always feel the pressure whenever they are representing the country.
The Watford defender made this disclosure ahead of the Super Eagles world cup playoff with the Black Stars at the Moshood Abiola Stadium in Abuja on Tuesday.
“We are always under pressure playing for Nigeria, because this is a big nation when it comes to football.”
“We know how important every game is to the country and the people. everytime we are putting on the shirt and representing millions and I’m sure we’ll cope and deliver on Tuesday.”
“We got a good result in Kumasi, which wasn’t easy and with our people behind us come Tuesday, we will finish the task”, The Watford defender told journalists.
The Super Eagles are seeking their seventh appearance at the FIFA World Cup and needs an outright victory against Black Stars on Tuesday to the seal the ticket to Qatar.
