Enyimba will not underrate ‘unfancied’ FC Rahimo – Oladapo

Enyimba midfielder, Austine Oladapo says his side must be at their best if they want to qualify for the next stage of the CAF Champions League.

On Monday, Enyimba were drawn against FC Rahimo of Burkina Faso, both clubs  had met at this level last season.

The NPFL progressed on a 5-1 aggregate win, and the two time African champions remain the favourites ahead of this season’s meetings.

Speaking to brila.net after the draw, Oladapo however disagreed with bookmakers who tagged the match as easy draw.

The former Gombe United midfielder said, FC Rahimo have improved over time and they are now different from the side, they faced last year.

“I don’t think it’s going to be an easy one this time, we have to work very hard if we want to qualify for the next stage,” He said.

“We have played each other, obviously we know ourselves well and also the Rahimo side we played last year has improved and are now experienced and much more better.”

Enyimba will welcome FC Rahimo to the Aba Township stadium for the first-leg on the 27th November, while the reverse fixtures will be played in Ouagadougou on the 4th of December.
