Ahmed Musa will return to England earlier than his loan deal at CSKA Moscow run its course following Thursday’s Europa League quarter-final draw outcome.
CSKA Moscow will face Arsenal in the last eight of Europe’s second tier competition after the Russian side was drawn against the Gunners.
Potentially, the 25-year-old could come up against his Super Eagles teammate Alex Iwobi.
Musa, 25, was pivotal to CSKA’s progress in the competition and Leicester City loanee will be looking forward to a return to England – where he struggled for game time – to show his rejuvenated form.
