Victor Ezeji was honoured by his former club, Club Africain. The presentation of the gift was made by the president of the club. Ezeji was also paraded around the stadium before the CAF Confederation Cup clash between the Club and Rivers united.
Afterwards, the Veteran NPFL star and former Club Africain of Tunisia forward, Ezeji speaking exclusively to Brila.net described the honour shown to him by the Tunisian club Sunday evening as the greatest honour he ever had after been presented to the fans and honoured shortly before the CAF Confederation cup clash between Rivers united and Club Africain.
Ezeji who won a league title with the Tunisian side Nine years ago told Brila.net that he also believes the moment should be one that will change a lot of things about Nigerian football as a number of Nigerian football officials were on ground and saw what happened and expects them to take a cue from the occassion.
