Heartland FC and Super Eagles goalkeeper Ikechukwu Ezenwa has stated that he was so happy to see the Nigeria senior national team secure qualification to the next Africa cup of nations in Cameroon.
Ezenwa revealed that he personally followed the Sierra Leone clash against Lesotho and sent congratulatory messages to Eagles coach Gernot Rohr before kickoff in the 1-0 win against Benin.
Ezenwa speaking in a chat with brila.net added that now that the qualification ticket has been secured, this is the time to finish the job well and win for Nigerians at home especially for Lagos fans who have been starved of hosting the national team for a long time.
