The Falconets recorded an emphatic 3-1 victory over hosts Senegal 3-1 in the final round of the FIFA U20 Women’s World Cup qualifiers .
Flourish Sabastine was the star of the day as she netted a perfect hat-trick, before the Senegalese pulled one back in the 89th minute.
Flourish Sabastine opens the scoring with a close range finish to put the Falconets in front after 8 minute.
The exciting forward doubled the lead for the Falconets in the 53rd minute, after tapping in a fine cross from Mercy Idoko .
Flourish Sabastine then completed her hat hatrick when she sent the goalkeeper to the wrong direction from the spot .
Adji Ndiaye later pulled one back from the spot as goalkeeper Oyono as the Falconets conceded a goal in the ongoing African qualifiers for the first time .
With the win, the Christopher Danjma girls now have a hand on the ticket to FIFA U20 Women’s World Cup, Costa Rica 2022.
The Second leg comes up in Benin on March 26th.
