Falconets will score goals against Canada — Idoko

Mercy Idoko says the Falconets are determined to make the Country proud at the ongoing FIFA U20 Women’s World Cup.

Christopher Danjuma’s team are top of Group C, with 6 points following victories over France and Korea Republic.

The team will conclude their Group C campaign with clash against Canada, who have been eliminated from the tournament.

The game is billed for Thursday at the Estadio Alejandro Morera Soto, and victory means the Falconets means they’ll finish as Group winners.

“They should be expecting a victory, we are going all out of win,” She said while speaking ahead of the clash.

“We are not thinking about the fact that we have been winning, buy we want to win the third game.”

The Falconets haven’t scored more than once in a game in Costa Rica, Idoko, however believes the team will score more this time around.

“We are going to put in more to secure the three points with goals,” She concluded.
