FCIU Goalie Anozie shares Dream Team VII camp experience

FC Ifeanyi Ubah Goalkeeper Anozie Chinedu says he’s delighted to be with the National U-23 team and believes the experience gained so far will surely make him a better football player.

Anozie has been in superb form for the Anambra Warriors so far this season with seven clean sheets from nine matches, a feat that earned him the LBA player of the month award and invitation into the National U-23 team for the AFCON qualifier game against Libya later in March.

The young goalkeeper in an exclusive interview with www.brila.net’s Seyi Alao revealed his experience in the Dream Camp so far.

“My experience in the National U-23 team has been so wonderful, although, it’s a different ball game from what I knew back at my Club”,

“Here it’s more tactical and technical and we train morning and evening every day.”

He added that the technical crew led by Imama Amapakabo who is assisted by Fidelis Ilechukwu and Kennedy Boboye are very good and are exposing the players to new tactical aspect of the game.

“The Coaches are very good, they are  teaching us exact things that we need to know and most of these things are not been taught in my previous teams .”

Anozie concluded that the experience will make him a better goalkeeper.

“I believe that coming to the camp has improved me a lot as a goalkeeper and as a football player in general .” He added.
