Former member of the NFF Reforms Committee Ahmed Shuaibu Gara-Gombe has stated that his resignation became imperative because of what he thought was wrong about the composition, process and workings of the Reforms committee.
Gombe who had initially accepted to be a member of the committee stated emphatically in a chat with www.brila.net that the composition of the leadership, as well as membership of the Reforms committee indicates that nothing will happen in terms of what the committee’s function is meant to address hence the need to step aside.
Gara-Gombe thereafter wished the committee well and said he is still very much open to serving Nigerian football in other or same capacity once his objections are satisfied.
