Iheanacho needs regular playing time — Udeze

Ifeanyi Udeze says Kelechi Iheanacho is a very good finisher of the ball, but he has to play regular football to become better.

Iheanacho is mostly used as substitute by Leicester City manager Brenda Rodger, despite his impressive records in the last 12 months .

The 25-year-old was back up to Jamie Vardy last season, however the Nigerian finished as Leicester City’s with 22 goals in all competition.

This term, Ihenacho has been involved in 15 goals — with his latest striker coming in Europa League win over Rennes on Thursday, despite being the third choice behind Jamie Vardy and summer signing Patson Daka.

Reacting to Ihenacho’s situation at Leicester City, Ifeanyi Udeze said, he’s now at a level where he has to play regularly to get better .

The former West Brom man defender suggested that, he’s being underutilized by Rodgers and might needs to go elsewhere for game time.

Kelechi Iheanacho is at level now where he needs regular gametime. He needs to play week in week out.

The kid is a good finisher and if you saw his execution of the goalhe scored yesterday, that is evidence the quality he possesses.” He told brila.net

Iheanacho joined Leicester City from Manchester City in 2017.
