Leicester City great Jamie Vardy is delighted with the form of striker partner Kelechi Iheanacho.

Vardy set up another goal for the Nigerian forward in Thursday’s Premier League win visiting West Bromwich Albion at the King Power Stadium.

Iheanacho netted the third goal for the Foxes in the 36th minute after another sublime assist from Vardy who also set up him up for the winner over Southampton last Sunday.

In his post match comments, attacking partner Vardy praised theform of Iheanacho, admitting he’s not surprised to see the Nigerianforward banging in goals for the Foxes.

Vardy concluded that Iheanacho should have score more than once against the relegation threatened Baggies.

“Nothing has changed with Kelechi Iheanacho, it’s just clicked forhim. That’s what we see in training every day. He should havescored more today but so should I!,” Vardy said.

Iheanacho has now surpassed his personal best of eight goals in the league with thr striker against West Brom.

It was his ninth goal of the season in the premier and 16th overall for the campaign.

The Nigeria international has also surpassed his previous record ofeight goals in a league season which was achieved after 26 matches in  the 2015-16 campaign at Manchester City.
