Rangers Int’l FC forward Michael Uchebo says he understands he must show fight on the pitch to help the team succeed after an underwhelming NPFL debut for the 28-year-old on Wednesday.
Uchebo told brila.net that he believes the goals will come and he only needs to stay positive. The forward went close twice in the first half against MFM FC but was wasteful on one occasion and a great, point-blank save by the goalkeeper frustrated Uchebo’s effort.
The home side took the lead inside 24 minutes through Adeniji Kabiru and it proved sufficient to hand Rangers Coach Gbenga Ogunbote a defeat in their opening league match of the season.
