Inter Milan unlikely to count on Victor Moses for next season

Victor Moses could be on his way back to Chelsea after the expiration of his loan deal with Italian Serie A side Inter Milan.

The former Super Eagles winger joined the Antonio Conte’s side back in January, but he’s currently the second choice behind Italian international Antonio Candreva.

Moses’ hope of securing a permanent deal with the club is also very slim following the acquisition of Real Madrid’s Moroccan youngster Achraf Hakimi.

Inter Milan paid 40m euros (£36m) with 5m euros of add-ons for the Madrid academy graduate and he’s expected to the first choice right-back/wing-back next season.

The arrival of the 21-year-old means Moses has been pushed down to the pecking order and the club are unlikely to count on him to prosecute next season.

Moses who has a year left on his Chelsea’s contract was on parade as the Nerazzurri thrashed Brescia 6 – 0 on Wednesday.

The 2013 African cup of Nations winner has made only seven league appearances since he joined the club in January after ending his stay with Fenerbahce of Turkey.
