19-year-old Striker, Henry Onyekuru says he feels no pressure and is ready to deliver for Nigeria after he was handed his first Super Eagles call up.
The KAS Eupen player was brought on for Austria Wien’s Kayode Olanrewaju in the Super Eagles camp in France later this month.
Olanrewaju will be tied up with club engagements he confirmed to brila.net after the NFF announced the changes.
Onyekuru said he got a call from a member of the NFF Technical committee before Gernot Rohr put another call through to confirm the invitation.
The striker said hopes to replicate his club form in the national team as he looks forward to meting the Coach, his teammates and also “some of my friends.”
He said, “I’m excited with this opportunity to play for Nigeria, I’ve been looking forward to it and I’m grateful to God.”
