Alex Iwobi was on target for Everton in their Carabao Cup game against Championship side Huddersfield on Tuesday.
The Nigerian international started the game and was able to guide the Toffees to a 2-1 victory in the second round of the Carabao Cup.
The former Arsenal attacking midfielder put Everton in front on 26 minutes, thanks to an assist from Tom Davies.
Iwobi has now made three appearances for Everton this season, scoring once.
However, the goal was canceled on the stroke of half-time when Tom Lees fired into the back of the net from close range.
Everton went from conceding an equalizer to losing a man as Italian striker Moise Kean was sent off on 59 minutes.
Despite the sending-off, Rafael Benitez dug deep to win the game with few minutes left to play.
Former Tottenham Hotspurs and Crystal Palace star Andros Townsend netted the winner in the 79th minute.
