Sogndal IL of Norway and Nigeria Flying Eagles striker Jerome Akor has stated that he is aiming for the Super Eagles striking role in the future.
Jerome Akor was part of the recent Flying Eagles team that represented Nigeria at the U20 world cup in Poland.
In an exclusive chat with www.brila.net Jerome stated that every young Nigeria player’s hope and dream one day is to fly the colours of the Super Eagles team.
“I think every Nigerian young player dreams of the Super Eagles, at the Super Eagles team the Glory is different from the age-grade national teamS and I dream of it also.” He told brila.net.
“I’m confident of making that height and the possibility of what God can do, and when the opportunity comes, i will try to use it.”
“I have been looking up to Oshimen right from his days in the U17 team, I admire him personally; I know there are a lot of big strikers in the Super Eagles currently but it takes just one opportunity, you never know, ‘ He concluded.
