Kano Pillars improvement delights Coach Musa Ibrahim

Kano Pillars Technical Adviser, Ibrahim Musa is excited with the team’s performance after thrashing Nasarawa United 3-0 win in the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) matchday 6 encounter at the Sani Abacha Stadium on Sunday.

The victory starved Sai Masu Gida scored three first half goals through Adamu Hassan(20 minutes), Chinedu Sunday ( 6 minutes later) before Hassan completed his brace (34 minutes) to blow the Bala Nikyu’s side away.

Musa said he’s satisfied with the players improvement, while insisting that there are still some work to do.

“It was an interesting match. My boys played better today but we still have more areas to work on,” Musa stated.

He added that the team should have scored couple of goals in the half but he’d satisfied with the overall display on Sunday.

“We scored three goals in the first half and we should have scored more goals in the second half too but we didn’t have force in the attack.

We missed scoring chances in the second half. The good thing about the team now is that they are improving game after game. We worked a lot after our last game and our hard work is now yielding positive results.

We won’t lose our concentration because our target is to top our group and win the league.”

Kano Pillars will visit Go Round Football Club in the next game on Wednesday.
