Lobi stars defensive midfielder Kelly Kester has downplayed the impact of Nigerian players ahead of this weekend’s CAF champions league group stage tie between Lobi and Moroccan side Wydad Casablanca.
Lester speaking in a chat with www.brila.net said the NPFL champions are unfazed at the prospect of coming against Babatunde Michael or Gabriel Okechukwu because they would only come as a normal opponent and nothing more.
He thereafter stated expressly that picking maximum points is the target of for Lobi and also express disappointment that Lobi would have to still play in Enugu as the Makurdi Airport did not meet CAF’s standard of what an airport should hence has to continue in Enugu again.
