Super Eagles goalkeeper, Maduka Okoye is delighted to be back at his club Rotherham after representing Nigeria at the Ongoing 2021 African Cup of Nations in Cameroon.
Okoye endured criticisms from the media and fans, following his underwhelming performance in the tournament as Nigeria bowed in the round of 16.
The 22-year-old failed to deal with a weak long-range effort from Tunisian midfielder in the round of 16 tie against Tunisia.
Okoye, however, arrived at his club over the weekend and he trained with the Dutch Eredivisie Side for the first time on Monday evening.
He appeared to have moved on from the setback as he posed for pictures with his teammates, after the session.
He also posted the photo on his Instagram account with the caption: ” Glad to be back with the winning team”.
The German-born shot-stopper is like to be in goal for the game against Feyenoord on Sunday.
