Mario Balotelli set for ‘Shock’ Italy return with Juventus deal close – Report

Former Man City forward, Mario Balotelli is reportedly set for a shock switch to Juventus as the former Liverpool striker prepares for another crack in Serie A.

Balotelli ‘s super agent, Mino Raiola also represents Blaise Matuidi and Moise Kean and a five-year contract has already been drawn up, with a sizeable signing-on bonus awaiting him.

The Italian giants believe he could play a key first-team role at the club, and not just serve as a back-up to first-choice striker Gonzalo Higuain.

Juventus, however, are preparing a stunning deal to bring Mario Balotelli back to Italy.

The former Manchester City and Liverpool striker is in red-hot form in Ligue 1 after scoring 17 times for Nice already this season.

And his return to goalscoring form has caught the attention of Serie A champions, Juventus, according to The Sun.

In two seasons at Nice, the 27-year-old has struck 35 times in 51 appearances, but his last season in Italy proved disastrous.

On loan from Liverpool, he scored three goals in 23 games before securing his permanent departure from Anfield in the summer of 2016.
