Meet the eight NPFL stars included in Super Eagles squad

Super Eagles’ first assistant Coach, Salisu Yusuf has released a list of 30 players for Mexico and Ecuador-friendly games in the US.

 

Yusuf who doubles as the head coach of Kano Pillars opted to include eight Nigerian professional Football League players in the squad.

 

The players include the duo of goalkeeper Ojo Olorunleke and striker Victor Mbaoma.

 

Defender Ibrahim Buhari of Plateau United and Rivers United top man Ishaq Rafiu also made the list.

 

Akwa United’s goalkeeper Adewale Adeyinka, Isa Ali of Remo Stars, and Kwara United’s striker Babatunde Afeez Nosiru completed the number.

 

The three-time African champions will clash with CONCACAF powerhouse Mexico at the AT & T Stadium in Dallas, the State of Texas on Saturday, 28th May, before flying to New Jersey to tackle Ecuador at the Red Bull Arena in Harrison on Thursday, 2nd June.
