Stephen Odey is on a facility tour to Danish club, FC Midtjylland and is expected to return to MFM FC before the second stanza of the NPFL gets underway.
MFM FC Football Director, Emmanuel Ayeyemi cleared the air on speculations about the free scoring striker, who has been linked with a move to Europe following his impressive form this season.
Odey is on course to get a national team call up, but his chances of clocking in are quite slim.
In a recent interview, Super Eagles Technical Adviser, Gernot Rohr pointed out the gulf in quality between his forward men, and insists he wouldn’t pick the 23-year-old NPFL based player ahead of Strikers plying their trade in Europe.
Ayeyemi told www.brila.net that the facility tour was arranged to help expose Odey and improve his quality as a goal poacher.
