Super Eagles winger Moses Simon was in action for his French club Nantes as they recorded a 2-0 away win against Saint- Etienne in their French Ligue 1 on Sunday.
The Nigerian gave a good account of himself by bagging an assist in the game.
Nantes took the lead in the 23rd minute thanks fine finish from Mehdi Abeid.
Simon then set up Ludovic Blas for the second goal three minutes after the break.
Simon who is on loan from Spanish side Levante has scored two goals and registered five assists in 18 league games for Nantes this season.
Meanwhile At the Stade Gaston-Gerard, Super Eagles number one striker played bis 19th league game of the season for Lille against Dijon on Sunday.
Victor Osimhen was in action for 90 but was unable to add to his ten league goals tally on a day Lille suffered a 1-0.
Osimhen has scored 10 goals in the league for the Les Dogues and 14 in all competitions this season, he has also recorded four assists in the process.
In Saturday game between Bordeaux and Olympic Lyon, Samuel Kalu was a second half substitute for Bordeaux as they lost at home 2-1, meanwhile his compatriot Josh Maja sat on the bench for 90 minutes.
