Nantes’ winger Simon Moses has joined football loving Nigerians to mourn the death of Nasarawa United star Chineme Martins who died on Sunday.
Chineme Martins was in action for his team Nasarawa United against Katsina United in Nigeria professional football league game at the Lafia Township stadium, before slumped and died.
Moses who is on loan at Nantes from Spanish LA Liga side Levante took to his social media handle to post his condolence messages to the player’s family and entire football fraternity.
“My heartfelt condolences goes out to the family,management, players of Nasarawa United and also the entire football family in Nigeria on the death of Martins Chineme.
May his soul rest in peace.”he posted.
Moses Simon is the second Nigerian football star who has reacted to the death of the player, after former Nigerian captain John Mikel Obi sent his condolence messages through his social media handle on Monday.
