2016/17 Ligat Ha’al MVP, Anthony Nwakaeme has said he’ll bid his time for a senior cap with Nigeria after another impressive season where he finished as the club’s top scorer.
Nwakaeme‘s 14 league goals this season helped Hapoel Be’er Sheva secure back to back league titles.
A successful season that saw Be’er Sheva finish with a league double having picked Toto Cup earlier in the season.

The 28-year-old said he’s convinced he’ll get his chance to represent the Country but admits Nigeria is replete with talent.
The Striker said he’s certain if Gernot Rohr continues to comb the world for Nigerian players, he’ll turn up with very impressive results, so he intends to stay in top shape and turn out such remarkable performances and “my time will come”.
