NBBF set to sort 2019 domestic league season – Ahmedu

FIBA Africa zone 3 and board member of the NBBF in communication with FIBA Rtd Col Sam Ahmedu has stated that the NBBF is set to sort out domestic basketball action before the end of the final quarter of the year as the women basketball league season resume today across different centers in the Federation.

Ahmedu speaking in a chat with brila.net said the men’s league as well is scheduled to start on the 8th of October 2019 to end early November ahead of Mid November when they will be required to submit names of teams for continental engagement while the women league ends on the 26th of October 2019.
“For now it’s the turn of the women’s league. The Federation has a schedule so the schedule for the ladies started in August to end October 26, so the men will start by October 8 to finish by early November baring unforeseen circumstances but that is the date it is scheduled to start.”
