Ndidi scores first Premier League goal as Leicester go top of the table

Wilfred Ndidi scored his first Premier League goal of the season in Leicester City’s 2 – 0 win over Chelsea at the King Power stadium on Tuesday.

Leicester made the perfect start as Ndidi fired the hosts ahead seven minutes into the game.

 

The Midfielder unleashed a powerful shot with his left foot from the edge of the box after Chelsea failed to clear their lines.

 

Tuesday’s screamer Ndidi’s 1st Premier League goal in 16 months and his 3rd against Chelsea in the competition.

 

 

James Maddison scored the second, four minutes before half time break.

 

The English midfielder controlled Albrighton’s long pass and comfortably fired past Edouard Mendy from 15 yards for his eighth goal of the season.

 

Leicester did well to protect their lead in the second half and claimed the maximum points.

 

The win took the Foxes to the top of the premier league table after 19 matches.
