President of the Nigeria Football Federation [NFF], Mr Amaju Pinnick has again rallied support for the Super Eagles ahead of the World’s biggest football event, ‘FIFA World Cup.
In a brief chat with brila.net, the NFF boss said the Federation has done everything on its own part to support the National team to this very moment.
Therefore calling on Nigerians home and abroad to give their immense support to the team as they prepare to fly the Nations’s flag in far away Russia.
“All our [NFF] effort towards the Eagles is not to mount pressure on the players” the NFF Chief noted.
“Rather, we are doing our bit as the Football Federation”
The Super Eagles of Nigeria have not had it so good according to the Team’s Captain and Leader, John Mikel Obi during the team’s visit to President Muhammadu Buhari on Wednesday.
Mikel noted that the present leadership of the NFF has put everything in place for the smooth running of the tournament at all sides, ranging from logistics, welfare and Bonuses.
The NFF team led by President Amaju Pinnick also informed the President at the Meeting that in few years, the federation will be able to operate independently.
The Super Eagles will on Wednesday face the Czech Republic in a pre-World Cup friendly as they continue their preparations ahead of the FIFA Mundial.
