Following Tuesday’s 2-0 defeat in the friendly against Serbia, NFF President Amaju Pinnick insists the Super Eagles still show a lot of promise and expects team to “learn more” from the loss.
Aleksandar Mitrovic scored a quick-fire brace in the second half to hand Gernot Rohr his second defeat since June 2017, but the FA Boss said he’s happy with the turn of events at the Hive.
Speaking with brila.net after the match, Pinnick expressed hope the team will bounce back from the defeat.
‘When you lose you learn more, when you win you learn less. This was a test game and the result means we can go back home and improve on the many lapses noticed,’ Pinnick said.
