Nigerian playmaker, Jackson Ipalibo has penned an emotional goodbye message to Villareal CF after completing a 3-year permanent deal to Norwegian club, Strømsgodset Toppfotbal.
The 22-year-old spent four seasons with the Yellow Submarines but was unable to make a breakthrough to the first team.
Last season, he was sent out on loan to Strømsgodset and his performance saw the Norwegian Eliteserien outfit made the move permanent.
The sensational midfielder after signing the dotted lines for Strømsgodset took to his official social media handles to announce the deal.
The Port-Harcourt born player took out time and eulogized Villareal CF for the privilege of adorning the club Jersey.
“My first ambition as a child was to be a professional footballer and I am eternally grateful to the great Villarreal CF for all their Support which came from the club staff members, coaches, and teammates during all these years as a youth player,” wrote Ipalibo.
