Nigeria U-19 handball team arrives the country

The Nigeria National U-19 handball team touched down Lagos after the successful tournament at Kosovo.

The team placed second at the just concluded International Handball Federation challenge in Kosovo after losing the final to Chinese Taipei

 

The team arrived with the President of Handball Federation Of Nigeria, Samuel Ocheho alongside the Technical Crew of the National U19 and 21 players.

 

Hakeem Damilare Salami was one of the star of the tournament, as he finished as Nigeria top scorer with 24 goals, second overall behind Taipei’s Lin Shao Yan Yang has recorded 18 strikes for his country.

 

Nigeria also won the fair play award and goalkeeper Michael Agbaji Solomon finished with the best save percentage with 44 saves from 111 shots (40%).
