Coach of Nigeria’s women wrestling team Akuh Purity has stated that Nigeria’s outing at the recently concluded Wrestling rankings series in Poland was an encouraging one for the Nigerian team with Odunayo Adekuruoye picking up Gold in the 57Kg category while Blessing Oborodudu ended with a Silver in her category to lay down a marker for Nigeria’s Olympics medal chase.
Purity speaking in a chat with brila.net said the competition has shown how serious and ready the Nigerian wrestlers are for the task of competing at the fast approaching Tokyo Olympics.
