Chairman of Nigeria National League club owners association Abdul Sule has stated that clubs in the nation’s second-tier league will be ready for the new NNL League kick-off date of 13 February 2021 following series of postponements previously suffered.
Sule speaking in a chat with brila.net said preparation and registration exercise has been good so far and he expects all clubs campaigning in the Nigeria National League to comply with the deadline for submission and completion of registration with the Secretariat of the Nigeria Nigeria League and onward commencement of the 2020/2021 NNL season.
“It looks good, all the club owners accepted it and we spoke with everybody and the day of submission everybody will try and make sure we meet the deadline before the league start and tomorrow Wednesday everything will be completed and we are ready for 13th of February. I’m very confident the league will start on the 13th of February because we are all working hard towards the same goal.”
