Anthony Nwakaeme contributed a goal and assist as Trabzonspor 4-2 Gotzepe in Saturday’s Turkish Super League game.
Nwakaeme grabbed his goal in the 34th minute as he cancelled the Halil Akbunar’s 31st minute opener for the visitors.
Abdülkadir Ömür then put Trabzonspor in front for the first time four minute, but it only lasted for seven minutes as Soner Aydoğdu levelled the scores for the hosts.
Jorge Djaniny Tavares Semedo restored Trabzonspor’s lead four minutes after the restart. The substitute latched on to a pass from Nwakaeme and beat the keeper from near post.
It was Nwakaeme’s 10th assist of the campaign and he has also scored 11 goals .
Abdülkadir Ömür grabbed his second of the game and Trabzonspor’s fourth in the 53rd minute and sealed the victory.
The victory extended Trabzonspor’s points tally to 72 minutes from 29 matches .
Trabzonspor currently leading second place Konyaspor with 18 points, but have played a game more .
