Nigerian forward Anthony Nwakaeme fired Trabzonspor to a 4-0 victory against Alanyaspor in Sunday’s Turkish Super Lig game.
The one-capped Super Eagles striker was the hero as he scored twice to lead his team to a comfortable win at Bahçeşehir Okulları Stadyumu (Alanya).
Nwakaeme grabbed his first goal for the Black Sea Storm in the 5th minute and completed his brace in the 26th minute.
The brace takes his tally for the nine goals in the league. He also has eight assists to his name and has been involved in 20 games in the Turkish Super Lig.
The 32-year-old saw action for 71 minutes while Super Eagles defender Chidozie Awaziem was benched by the hosts.
Nwakaeme will be looking forward to another positive outing when Trabzonspor take on Kayserispor on February 25.
