President of the Handball Federation of Nigeria Sam Ocheo has stated that the Covid-19 pandemic has had a major effect on the programs earmarked for the year which had started on a very bright note for the Handball Federation with the successful staging of U12 and U15 handball competition in the early part of the year in Sokoto.
Ocheo speaking in a chat with brila.net said a number of programs haven’t been able to fly due to the lockdown order that hasn’t been lifted on Nigerian sports and rues the setback this has caused the Federation in terms of what could have been achieved so far.
